It’s clear that the way we’re working is no longer working. Futurist Alvin Toffler said: those that will survive in the 21st century will be those that can “learn, unlearn, and relearn”.
Now that change has become the new normal, people, teams and organizations need to be able to step forward into uncertainty and complexity with courage, a keen eye and a sharp mind. That’s a scary place to step into for most professionals, who for many years have been taught (and rewarded!) for following the company line and not taking risks!
